OVERVIEW
John Curtin of the Albany Distilling Company commissioned a packaging design for Anchor
Gin, a spirit inspired by Hezekiah Pierrepont’s original recipe. The gin traces its origins to the
East River in Brooklyn Heights, where Pierrepont first developed the historic formula.

About this project
Through my research, I created two different bottle design concepts.
The first concept uses elements from the windmill once owned by Hezekiah Pierrepont to highlight the brand’s identity. The second concept is inspired by the East River, using the flow of the water as a visual theme. Both concepts follow a minimal style to respect the product’s history while keeping the design clean and modern.
